As the Head of the Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) Office, I take pride in leading efforts that ensure our college consistently delivers relevant, responsive, and high-quality training to all our trainees. The Internal Quality Assurance Office plays a vital role in ensuring that our academic programs, administrative processes, and support services are aligned with the guidelines of TVETA, TVET CDACC, and other regulatory bodies. But beyond compliance, our focus is on continuous improvement — reviewing, refining, and upgrading our systems so that you can thrive in a competitive world.

Welcome to the Dual Training Office of Kitui East Technical and Vocational College — where we connect technical education with real-world experience.

The Dual Training approach is a powerful model that blends classroom instruction with hands-on industry training, ensuring that our trainees graduate with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. This model empowers trainees to learn by doing and prepares them for the demands of today’s dynamic job market.

Through structured partnerships with local industries and organizations, our trainees spend part of their learning time in actual workplaces, under the mentorship of experienced professionals. This not only enhances their competence but also boosts their confidence, work ethic, and employability.

Key Objectives of Dual Training:

At Kitui East TVC, we have already established partnerships with several local industries, signed Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs), and successfully placed trainees in real industrial settings. We are actively expanding our network and encouraging more industries to come on board as training partners.
